The students of Class  X-A  are aware that there are huge challenges facing the Deaf community. There are approximately 12 million Deaf in India with 80% of them having no access to formal education. There is a lack of right pedagogy and teaching resources which are especially customized to the needs of the Deaf in India. So, they are learning Indian Sign Language from the deaf teachers of Noida Deaf Society in order to help the deaf become contributive partners of society. This will contribute to a pool of trainers for the hearing impaired.
