NEWS and ACHIEVEMENTS

School won the winner's trophy of NEVS Camp 2019, held at Dudhwa Tiger Reserve

Our school team comprising of students of class V have won the winner's trophy of the 11th Edition of National Environment Science Camp 2019, held at Dudhwa Tiger Reserve  organised by Karavan Heritage and Nature Society.  As always, our students performed exceptionally this year as well. 
 
Winning the N E V S Camp Trophy is really a big challenge. Points are awarded not just for the final outcome but also for discipline, team work, analysis, creativity and problem solving. Our students have excelled in all aspects.

Shaurya Choithani & Zahra Shirpurwala won the the 3rd prize in Zonal Science Congress

Shaurya Choithani of  X C and Zahra Shirpurwala of VI C  participated in the Zonal Science Congress and won the third prize in the Junior Category for their topic-Cellulose Based Packaging in lieu of conventional materials.

Dikshant Jiwani has cleared final round of NTSE

Dikshant Jiwani of XI C has cleared his final round of NTSE and will now be a proud recipient of NTSE scholarship. 
The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a National Level scholarship program in India to identify and nurture talented students. It honours and helps talented students by providing financial assistance in the form of a monthly scholarship for the entire Academic Career.
 

Raghav Datta & Aileen Walia won the Silver medal in interschool Karate Championship

Raghav Datta of Class I C won the Silver medal in the 3rd Inter-School Karate and Taekwondo Championship held on 25 Aug, 2019 by the Universal Academy of Contact Karate & Taekwondo at Delhi. He holds a yellow belt and participated in two fights in his category.

In the same competition, Aileen Walia of class I B, who holds an Orange belt, won two silver medals.

 

Prarthana bagged the first position in a creative writing competition

Prarthana of  XI A bagged the first position in a creative writing competition held in New Era School on the 26 July 2019. 42 schools of Delhi/ NCR took part in the event.

Prarthana also won the Best Speaker award in the Debate contest held at Modern School in August.

 

Aryam Samaria was part of the first Western Classical Music Orchestra at Budapest

Aryam Samaria of class XI was part of the first Western Classical Music Orchestra from India which performed in Europe, at Budapest Hungary.

 

 

School won the Overall Winners trophy of DIGEX 2019 organised by DPS, RK Puram

Annual photography and film-making competition was organised by Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram on 17 August 2019. School's photography club members participated in all events and won the Overall Winners trophy.
 
Manya Kamath of X A and Aaryan Kohli of XII A won the second position in Camitistic event(storyboard).
Ansh Matta of XI C won the second position in the Surprise event.
 

Bhavik Malik-Budding Artist

Honourpoint foundation conducted the ‘All India open online painting competition’ to commemorate 20th Anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The painting made by Bhavik Malik of class VIII C was one of the best 10 paintings from across the country.

Tagoreans won the first position in the Zonal Level Quiz Contest organised by DoE

Arsh Misra of XI D, Sidharth Bhattacharjee of XI C and Arjun Nehra of X B participated in a zonal level science quiz on Global Warming organized by the Department of Education on 19th August, 2019. They won the first position in the quiz contest which saw participation from 30 schools. They have now qualified for the State Level of the quiz.

Ayushee Mehandru secured the 2nd position in P Synergy in Vasant Valley School

Ayushee Mehandru of XII B secured the second position in P Synergy at Laissez faire held in Vasant Valley. The participants were required to apply the basic principles of psychology and sociology to analyses a current topic.

Amogh Jain & Aditya Kabu won the second prize in Game Development at Access 2019

Access 2019, a computer fest was organized by Modern School , Barakhamba. Our team consisting of Amogh Jain of  XI B and Aditya Kabu XI C won the second prize in Game Development.

Winners of TAPS Fest organised by Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan

TAPS Fest was held in Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan on 22 August 2019 in which Aditya Choithani of V A and Abir Neogy of IV B got the first prize in Symposium .They made a presentation on Inspiring Success Stories using Power Point 2007.
Ansh Matta of XI C secured the second position in the event #thatswhattheytweeted.
Lal Rinfelli and Sia Chandok of X C secured the second position in the Mask Making competition with the theme , unmasking the future.
 
 

Avni Sharma & Jayita Diwan bagged the Ist position in a science competition

On 22nd August 2019 Sadhu Vaswani School hosted Bio-Tech a biotechnology science competition wherein various schools from all over Delhi participated. Our team comprising Avni Sharma and Jayita Diwan of XII D bagged the first position. They both received a  cash prize of ₹500 each.

Muskaan Bhatt, Akriti Kapur and Sanjeet Agarwal bagged the first prize in Confluence 2019

Our students participated in Confluence 2019 held in Ryan International School, Vasant Vihar. Muskaan Bhatt XII B and Akriti  Kapur of XII B bagged the first prize in Young Master Chef competition.

Sanjeet Agarwal of  XII A bagged first prize for HAM(half a min).

Rimuksh Kansal and Girik Jindal secured the third position in Code Bytes

On 23 August, Rimuksh Kansal and Girik Jindal of class XII-C participated in Code Bytes at Vasant Valley School. Successfully solving a series of logical problems using python, they secured the third position out of more than the fifteen schools that had participated in the event.

Tagoreans secured the second position in the MOD Quiz

MOD Quiz was held on 30 August 2019 at Modern school Vasant Vihar. Our Junior team comprising of Naman Kar of IV A ,Simarpreet Singh of IV C, Saesha Agrawal of V A and Nidhir Bardhan of V B secured the second position in the quiz.
