Theatre students of VI-VIII are enthusiastic and talented. The initial stages emphasize the significance of movement, coordination between gesture and speech and performing for an audience. The students attempt various combinations of gesture, speech, song, music, and dance. Theatre skills are further polished through activities of self-expression, imagination and games which allow students to individually explore movement.

Peers are encouraged to observe and provide useful feedback. The overall aim is to endow students with confidence to present the experience of a real or imagined event before a live audience in a specific place, often a stage.
