Tagoreans won the trophy for overall third position

Our School won trophy for overall third position at the Zonal Level Science Activities and Exhibition organized by DOE (Directorate Of Education)

Our students won the first prize in Science Drama competition and the topic for the competition was “Digital India”. Participants were:

Saivansh Kwatra of VI A, Saburi Chopra, Chhavi Jain, Sanchit Kumar of VIII A, Shraddha Hariharan, Shayan Basu, Vaishnavi Pandey of VIII C and Dhruv Vasan of VIII B. They have qualified for the district level competition.

Vanshika Kathuria and Ansh Matta of class IX A  stood first in the Science Seminar Presentation. The topic for the presentation was “Role of Science and Technology in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan”

Ujjawal Shukla of class IX B won the third position in the Science Debate competition. The topic for the debate was “Mobile : a convenience or a problem”

Aashray Mittal of class VII won the second prize in the junior category. The topic was “Petroleum Pollution”

Aadya Gupta of class IV A stood first in the Sub-Junior category. The topic was ‘Make our Planet Green’.

In Science Toon competition, students had to design a cartoon on any scientific theme. Yash Marwah of VIII B secured the third position.

Science and Math were collectively represented with a mathematical model named ‘Fractal’. Anshika Sansanwal and Pranav Anand of class IX presented their creation and won the third prize for the same.

Rakshit Tokas won the Bronze medal in Sub-Junior National Judo Championship

Rakshit Tokas of VI B won the Bronze medal in Sub-Junior National Judo Championship held at GNMC Stadium, Warangal, Telangana from 30 September to 04 October 2017.
He also participated  in Inter school Sports and Games competition 2017-18 organised by CBSE and won the Gold medal in Judo championship held at Bal Bharti Public School, Dwarka from 4 - 10 October 2017.

Naman Kar won Gold medal in Delhi South Zone Taekwondo Championship

Shanti Niketan Taekwondo Club which is affiliated to Taekwondo Federation of Delhi organized Delhi South Zone Taekwondo Championship on 03 September 2017 at Guru Harkishan Public School. Naman Kar of class II C, who presently possesses green belt with blue strip fought three fights and won Gold medal in 25 Kg weight category.

Heera won the second prize in PINKATHON

Maximus Mice and Media Solutions Pvt. Ltd organized PINKATHON -India’s biggest women’s run, created with the objective of spreading awareness about women’s health related issues, on 17 September 2017. Heera of V C, our V.I student participated in the event at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Heera stood second in Delhi region. She won numerous electronic gadgets.

Tagoreans declared the Overall Winners of Stagecraft 2017 at Sanskriti School

Stagecraft, an interschool competition was organized by Sanskriti School. Our school team participated in various events and lifted the Shikha Chhabra Rolling Trophy.

In Play, a team of 6 students from class XII won the First prize and the participants are:

John also won Overall Best Actor Award for his performance.

In Debate competition, Sanjeet Aggarwal of class X C won the Best Debator Award.

In Imitation competition, Aradhya Kukreja of XII A won the First prize after going through four rigorous rounds and competing with about 15 other school participants.

Stagecraft Sanskriti

Winners of Anveshan 2017 @ ITIHAAS

Anveshan is an annual Heritage based music event organized by ITIHAAS-The Indian, Traditions and Heritage Society with the aim of encouraging young students to endeavor, explore and experience their local heritage. It provides the school students a unique opportunity to venture out, collect information, stories, lore and legends linked to their local culture, traditions and historical landmarks and weave them together into a melodious song. 27 students of classes VI-VIII participated in this event and won the First prize. Our budding lyricists Saivansh Kwatra, Vaaruni Khanna, Sakina Nadeem wrote the song.The participants are-

Tagoreans won laurels in ‘Mind Your Business’ event @ Sanskriti School

‘Mind your Business’ event was organized on 03 August 2017 by Sanskriti School, related to Commerce & Business for students of classes XI and XII.
Aakrit Bhargava and Ranjot Bindra of class XII A won the Third prize in Quiz competition.
Yashaswini Kataria of XII A won the award for the Best Investor in the startup Syndicate competition.

Tagoreans won laurels in GOONJ at DPS, Gurgaon

Goonj, an interschool festival of performing arts was organized by DPS, Gurgaon on 11 August 2017. About 10 schools participated in this festival. Our school participated in various events and won prizes.
A team of 12 students participated in ‘Abhivyakti’, a Music and Dance competition and won the Second prize. They also won the award for the Best Costume. The participants are:

An interschool Science and Mathematics Festival-‘Quest Fest’, was organized by St. Mark’s Public School, Meera Bagh.

Tagoreans shine at TAG FEST

Tagore International, EOK organized its annual cultural event on 30 August 2017.
In Tech Art competition, Aparajita Yadav and Mannika Sansanwal of class IV won the Second prize. They had to design an advertisement in Kolourpaint.
In Cartoon Story making competition, Feuli Badoni and Sashreek Kumar of class V won the Second prize.
Niloy Biswas, Asses Singh and Aryan Kohli of X won the Third prize in the Movie making competition.
In the art category, Luan Seldo of XII won the Third prize in Charcoal drawing. She got a Special mention for her art work which would be printed on T-Shirts.
