Interact club

The Rotary Club International helps young people to develop leadership skills and serve their communities through hands-on projects and making connections. At the school level, this is done by members of the Interact Club who learn to observe their surroundings and decide on how they feel they can make a difference to the community.

On 24 August 2016, the newly elected members of the school’s Interact Club were invested with their portfolios by the District Officials of the South West District Rotary Club. These office bearers will now select their teams and work on the path breaking projects that our school has initiated –

Breaking Barriers – the LGBTQI Awareness and Sensitivity Program

Flawless Flaws – the Acid Attack Survivors Support program

Outlive Yourself – the Organ Donation Awareness Program

Tagorean Awareness Society – an initiative to inculcate civic awareness in students

Through the Interact Club, we aim to groom our students to become worthy citizens of India and the world.

Office bearers of the Interact Club are:

President : Sohini Chakrabarty (XII B )

Vice President : Simran Nanda (XI B)
