Hasya Kavi Sammelan held for classes XI-XIII on 7 September 2018

Hasya Kavi Sammelan saw great enthusiasm and zeal by all the participants and houses. The audience was mesmerized by the jubilant and humorous self-written poems which were a pleasure to listen to. The topics for Hasya Kavi Sammelan were ‘Mobile Ki Maya’ and 'Main Aur Mera Computer Aksar Ye Baten Karte Hein'. Shakti House bagged the first position followed by Pragati, Shanti and then Ekta House.

Nukkad Natak Competition held for classes VI-VIII on 7 September 2018

Nukkad Natak was held for classes VI-VIII on 7 September 2018.Students displayed appreciable enthusiasm and kept the audience hooked by their vivid and vivacious skills, making them break into cackles of laughter and drift into deep reverie as and when required.Judicious use of props was done and stage presence and awareness shown by all participants was commendable. The results were as follows: Ekta received first position, followed by Shanti receiving second and Pragati and Shakti receiving third and fourth position respectively.

Fusion Dance and Music held for classes VI-XII on 14 August 2018
The event took place on the 14th of August, 2018.The event was an extravagant display of exceptional talent in the areas of music,dance and art, a harmonious blend of all brought together successfully by the students of classes VI-XII. The topic provided was “freedom of speech and expression”, each comprehended by all in their own manner, thus making each one distinctive.The efforts put in to bring out the various interpretations were worth eulogizing. The dancers; moves had a story to tell, the singers had a sentiment to convey and the instrumentalists had a beat to be felt. The proceedings were delightful, leaving the audience contended and spellbound with the prospect displayed.
The results were as follows: Shakti received first position, followed by Pragati receiving second and Ekta and Shanti receiving third and fourth position respectively.

Debate competition held for classes VI-VIII on 20 July 2018
Debate was organized for classes VI-VIII on 20 July 2018. There were three participants from each house. One participant from each house was to speak for the motion while the other one against the motion and the third participant acted as an interjector, asking questions to other houses. The event was judged by Ms.Vandana and Ms.Sharmishtha who immensely enjoyed the debate and gave a positive feedback to students. A plethora of confidence was seen in each and every participant and was evident in their way of speaking.
The results were as follows: Ekta received first position, followed by Shakti receiving second and Shanti and pragati receiving third and fourth position respectively.Overall it was an entertaining event which stimulated intellect and was enjoyed by both the students and teachers.

Debate competition held for classes IX-XIII on 19 July 2018

Debate for classes IX-XII was held on 19 July 2018. The topic for prelim was 'should India put trade barriers to protect domestic market'. Shakti faced Shanti and Pragati faced Ekta in the preliminary round. After a close competition between the houses, shanti and Pragati emerged as the finalists.The topic for the final round was 'use crypto currency'. Finally in the final round Pragati House emerged victorious after a competitive final with Shanti house. All the participants gave their best efforts and the competition left an impactful effect on the judges as well as on the audience who witnessed it.

Caricature event held for classes VI-VIII on 27 April 2018

Caricature competition was held for classes VI-VIII based on the theme 'what does empowerment mean to you'. The topic was given on the spot and the participants had to showcase their artistic skills as well as creativity in 30 minutes. Shakti house finished first followed by Ekta, Shanti, and Pragati.

' Best out of waste ' event held for classes IX-XII on 26 April 2018

Walk the ramp-'Best out of waste' was a inter-house competition where students prepared a dress for the model based on the theme fashion 2030.All houses came up with innovative designs and this innovation took them closer to the winning spot. The positions of the four houses were PRAGATI, SHANTI, EKTA and SHAKTI respectively.

Ignited Minds- Quiz competition held for classes VI-IX on 29 January 2018

Ignited Minds took place on the 29 January 2018 and was based on Quiz covering many topics which include Current affairs, politics, sports and Entertainment.. It was a marvelous event judged/hosted by cultural captains, Shrey and Nishita. The positions of the four houses were SHAKTI, EKTA, PRAGATI AND SHANTI respectively.Everything was carried out marvelously and it was a pleasure to see such talents in students of Grades VI-IX.

Parliamentary Debate Event held for classes IX-XII on 29 December 2017
Parliamentary Debate was organized for classes IX-XII on 29 December 2017.There were two rounds.The topic was given 30 minutes prior to the event. Three students from each house participated and each had 4 minutes to speak. The winners of the first round which were pragati and shakti competed with each other in the final round, with pragati house winning the debate. Students participated with great enthusiasm. This event was Judged by Sohini Chakrabarti who is an ex student and Devarshi Paul is the president of the Student’s Council.
Overall it was an entertaining event which stimulated intellect and was enjoyed by both the students and teachers.
 
Snap, Style and Share held for classes VI-VIII on 28 December 2017

Snap Style and Share Event was held on 28 December 2017. It was an amazing as well as joyful experience for all students who got the opportunity to witness some amazing photography and learn life lessons about family. The topic given to every house was ‘Family Tradition’ . The positions of the four houses were Shakti Winning the First Position Whereas Shanti and Pragati Bagged the Second Position, And Ekta Winning the Third Position. The whole event had a mesmerizing effect on the judge as well as the audience.

 
News Hour Held for classes IX-XII on 24 November 2017

Primetime, also known as news hour was held on 24 November 2017. It was an amazing as well as joyful experience for all students who participated and also the students who got the opportunity to witness some memorable performances showcased by all houses. Each house portrayed news in a creative way. The positions of the four houses were EKTA, PRAGATI, SHAKTI AND SHANTI respectively. The whole event had a mesmerizing effect on the judges as well as the audience.

Character Portrayal held for classes VI-VIII on 3 November 2017

The Character Portrayal event took place on the 3rd of November 2017. It was a marvelous event judged by Mr.Anjon who has a significant  background in the field of theatre and arts. The positions of the four houses were  Ekta, Pragati, Shakti and Shanti respectively. The event was based on theme wherein students were given one of the great historical cultural backgrounds and they had to depict or show that culture.
