Laghunatika competition held for classes VI-VIII on 14 September 2017
The laghunatika competition was held on the auspicious occasion of hindi diwas held on 14th September 2017. It was an amazing experience for all the students who participated as well as all the students who got the opportunity to witness it. Each house was given a different topic which they beautiful illustrated. The positions of the four houses were SHAKTI, PRAGATI, SHANTI, EKTA respectively. The whole event had a mesmerizing effect on the judges as well as the audience.
Hasya Kavi Sammelan held for classes IX-XII on 14 September 2017

Hasya kavi sammelan was held on the auspicious occasion of hindi diwas on 14th September 2017. The competition was about how various student poets presented their self written poems in the topic 'desh kal aaj aur kal'. All four houses performed beautifully in an humorous manner and opened our minds to new thoughts and a different line of opinions about how our country was, is right now and will be in near ​ future. The positions of the four houses were EKTA, SHAKTI, SHANTI AND PRAGATI. It was an overall great experience enjoyed by all.

Spellathon Competition was held for students of classes VI-VIII on 27th July'17

Inter house spellathon for classes 6-8 was held on July 27,2017. The students were tested on their proficiency in the English language and awareness about Indian heritage.The competition was a fierce one, involving five engaging rounds,and the winner remained unpredictable till the last round as each of the four teams, with two participants each, battled hard with their knowledge as their weapon. Shakti house bagged the 1 st position followed by Ekta and there was a tie between Pragati and Shanti for the 3 rd position.

Caricature Competition was held for Students of Classes VI-VIII on May 12,2017

Our school organized a caricature competition on 12th May for classes 6-8. Each house was represented by a team of two participants, and the had to make caricatures of famous personalities  like Ruskin Bond, SH Raza, Rabindranath Tagore, Mother Teresa, Briju Maharaj, Zakir Hussain,etc. The students picked out chits, and sketched out some lovely caricatures. The final standings of the houses were Shanti, Shakti, Pragati, and Ekta.

Best-out-of-Waste Costume Designing Competition was held for Students of classes IX-XII on May 12,2017

Our school organized a best-out-of-waste costume designing competition for classes 9-12 on 12th May,2017. Each house was represented by a team of five members- four designers and one model. They theme given to them was Mughal meets modern, and they had to make outfits with waste materials keeping in mind the theme. Each team was given 40 minutes to make their costumes, and the model was given 2 minutes to deliver a speech on the interpretation of the theme, and the materials used for making the costume. Each team presented lovely outfits, and the the standings were Ekta,Shanti, Shakti and Pragati.

Spot Ad Competition was held for students of classes IX-XII on May 2,2017.

The inter house Spot Ad competition was held on May 2, 2017 for classes 9-12. The topics for the various houses were different and revolved around issues persisting in India, both social and economic.Participants  were given time to prepare. The competition comprised of two rounds; English and Bilingual. The audience enjoyed the humorous ads put up by the various houses. It commendable how the houses sent such meaningful messages across through their short performances. Ekta house did a splendid job and won the first position followed by Shanti and Pragati.

Debate Competition was held for students on May 1,2017.

The inter house debate competition was held on May 1,2017. The topic was whether misleading television advertisements should be banned or not. The participants were given time to prepare. All houses presented their speeches extremely well. It engaged the audience and they thoroughly enjoyed the debate while supporting their respective houses. The positions were Ekta, Shanti and Pragati. It was an highly educational and informative competition.

Ignited Minds Quiz was held for students of classes VI-VIII on 06 February 2017

Character Portrayal competition was held for students of classes VI-VIII on 30 December 2016
30 December 2016, the last day in school for the year 2016 ended with a blast as the inter house character portrayal bout was held for students of classes VI-VIII. Just as the name says, the two participants from each house enacted a short script of four minutes, without the use of any words. The rules of the competition were simple - non verbal enactment, no words in spoken or written form, a maximum time of four minutes, with the warning bell being rung at 1:30 mins, and the other at 3:30 minutes. The theme for the portrayal was " Terrorism: an omnipresent problem," whereby all houses had to justify this topic by showcasing how terrorism is everywhere, within us and around us.
