Senior School Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on 09 February 2018

The annual Senior Prize Distribution ceremony was held with customary elan  on Friday, 9th February, 2018. Students from classes VI to XII were awarded with mementoes and certificates for meritorious achievements in the field of academics, sports and co curricular activities for the session 2017-2018. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Mr.Anup Kumar Jaiswal,  Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Gujarat. The HOD, Faculty of English Ms. Rumna Mitra Lala highlighted on the Chief Guest’s record achievements and breakthroughs made during his tenure with the IT Department. The School report was read out by Presidents of the School Cabinet, Sandeed Farooq and Manya Nagarajan of class XI. What followed were awards and certificates being presented to students for varied  inter- house competitions, for overall excellence in the field of academics and  sports,  the Shobha Bhavnani awards for house contributions over the year, awards for 100% attendance for 3 years and more, as also an award for proficiency displayed in Sanskrit language. The programme was elegantly anchored by Ms.Shivani Gupta, the Senior School Headmistress.

Graduation Day for the batch of class XII students of 2017-2018 was held  on 25 January 2018. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Mr. Arunoday Mukharji, Senior Associate Editor at CNN News18 Prime Time and news anchor of the daily 8pm show.

National Mathematics Day on 22nd December 2017

The National Mathematics Day is celebrated every year on 22nd December on account of the birth anniversary of the great mathematician,Sir  Srinivasa Ramanujan. The students of the school also celebrated the same with enthusiasm and gaiety.During the day various activities in different classes related to math were organised. The school premises also came alive with display boards showcasing beautiful charts dedicated to various mathematicians.The main aim of the celebration was to evoke interest and love towards math. The students thoroughly enjoyed the activities and participated enthusiastically. The staff members were also involved and were made to participate in activities conducted by a group of students. The response from everyone was heartening and it turned out to be an extremely successful event.

Christmas was celebrated in school with fervour and gaiety on 22 December 2017
Winterlude 2017-- School Fete on 16 December 2017 was organized to celebrate the onset of winters.
The school band performed live in the school during the recess and enthralled the audience on the occasion of Children's Day on 14 November 2017
Guru Nanak's birthday was celebrated in school on 03 November 2017 by distributing kada prasad and students singing Shabad Gurbani

Sanskrit Diwas was celebrated in school on 08 September 2017

On 8th September 2017, Tagore International School observed “Sanskrit Diwas”. The event was aimed at celebrating the various facets of one of the oldest languages in the world, the language of the gods, our very own Sanskrit. The programme included various performances by the students of class 6-10, including a melodious rendition of Saraswati Vandana, an enchanting recital of Shiv Stuti and speeches which reiterated the importance of the ancient language in the modern world. The event was topped off by an enthralling theatrical performance which called for an end to all disputes and sent a strong message for establishing peace and harmony. The event was graced by the presence of Shri Satyamoorthi ji as the chief guest, and the Principal, Ms. Madhulika Sen. The performances were greatly appreciated by all present and would surely have showcased that truly, “SanskritahSarvashrethah!” (Sanskrit is the greatest!)
