 SCHOOL BUILDING

The red school building stands proud with spacious, airy, well-lit classrooms boasting of aesthetically designed furniture painted according to a colour scheme specific to each grade. The four wings of the building enclose an atrium, with space for students to play in, is embellished with plants and climbers, creating a green space which instantly rejuvenates and invites.

 BALA (Building As a Learning Aid)

The pavements around the atrium are painted with the map of Delhi, the Periodic Table of Elements, the Phases of the Moon, the Globe, the Multiplication Tables and a Timeline correlating the history of Delhi, India and the world. We also have the map of India in relief on a wall, which makes studying the political and physical features of our country easy. 

The kindergarten block has colourful beads on the railings, which serve as an abacus, an aid to learning colours, numbers, series and patterns. All these are part of our effort to make maximum use of our resources. Using the building as a learning aid (BALA) introduces a new dimension to educational experiences, making content and learning more vivid and long lasting.

 AUDITORIUMS

Two auditoria, with a total seating capacity of 750 people, are used for a range of activities like presentations, orientations, cultural events and celebrations. The auditorium on the ground floor has been renovated recently, in a design that is modern and functional. The acoustics, lighting and air conditioning are all state-of-the-art and give the auditorium a sophisticated look. With a high – tech Bose sound system and speakers from Shure, the sound field created ensures a nearly individual reception of sound by every member of the audience. The range and placement of the lighting fixtures ensures maximum effectiveness during a performance.

 AUDIO VISUAL ROOMS

Two Audio Visual Rooms with LCD Projectors and multimedia kits are utilized for the workshops, competitions and seminars. With pleasing interiors and the latest AV equipment, they provide just the right ambience for these activities.

 CLASSROOMS

Altars of learning, all classrooms are equipped with LCD Projectors and White screens. Ebeams (Interactive whiteboards) have been installed in all the classes from I-X. Class I is taught all subjects through an online program called Chrysalis provided by EZVidya. All students of the school are taught using special interactive programs such as Educosoft ( for Mathematics and Science), Destination Success ( for teaching Science to classes VI-VIII ) and TeachNext (for classes II-V) to make the concepts efficacious. The learning environment is further empowered through subject-specific charts, a creative corner and a word wall.

 SCIENCE LABS

The Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Home Science Labs are all equipped with the latest paraphernalia required to effect long term, practical learning. The students in the Chemistry Lab use Micro Kits which are a mini replica of the regularly used test tubes and other apparatus, and reduce the amount of chemicals used, thus impacting the scale of the effect they have on the environment. Every lab has a Wall of Fame with pictures of famed scientists to encourage the students and a board where the latest news from the world of Science are displayed and then discussed in the class.

 COMPUTER LABS

The three state-of-the-art technology labs are equipped with the latest software and hardware, LCD’s and white boards, and still and video cameras to encourage students in artistic pursuits such as movie making, photography and event management. Classes I-VIII employ Chrysalis as part of our curriculum partnership with EZVidya.

 SCIENCE PARK

Science is undoubtedly a practical subject and is best learned hands-on. The Science Park on the terrace of the school boasts of a number of models and machines. The Levers, Newton’s Colour wheel, Wind wane, Sundial and others that help clarify scientific concepts such as Light refraction, Inertia, Motion, Time etc.

 SOCIAL SCIENCE LAB

The Social Science Laboratory is a veritable mine of a plethora of maps and 3-D representations of our important buildings. The Map Tracers and Sand Pit to aid in study of Topography make Geography easy to understand and apply. History comes to life with the pictorial depictions and tactile models of artefacts. The interactive Smart Board adds to the realistic learning of the social sciences.

 MATHEMATICS LAB

Mathematics as an abstract subject is often not easy to understand. When the concepts are worked on practically, it is no longer fearsome. The Math Lab employs child friendly and uncomplicated manipulatives, along with games and puzzles, to study various operations and concepts. The lab’s design is inviting and it inspires one to approach Math confidently.

 LANGUAGE LAB

The language lab in the school offers an exclusive result oriented and efficient system to enrich the language learning process. The digital lab motivates students’ learning attitude, providing an interactive learning environment. The audio-visual aids fulfil the instructional needs of language educators and gives life to language. The ergonomically designed furniture and seating structure is conducive to an interactive and healthy learning environment.

 ROBOTICS LAB

A state of the art Robotics Lab has been set up for students interested in creating robots and other software-controlled gadgets. Three computers have been installed for programming the robots. The students get to work in pairs on South Korean robotic kits. These kits are divided into three levels - OLLO or Starter kits (for classes VI to VIII), Explorer (for classes IX and X) and Bioloid (for classes XI & XII). The enthusiasm for Robotics has increased manifold due to the aesthetic appeal of the robotic lab.

 SCHOOL LIBRARY

The journey of a lifetime starts with the turning of a page. The school has two large libraries, junior and senior, with an excellent collection of books, journals and magazines. The motto of our library is:

The primary goal of our libraries is to aid students and teachers in their quest for knowledge and to ensure that students are efficient users of information. Ready access to materials in all formats, regular activities and discussions related to books and authors, opens a new world for the students.

The Library maintains an attractive and inviting physical environment which acts as the information centre for all the activities that go on in the school and allows for an enriched learning experience. The school library is also equipped with audio books for academic and general reading to cater to the visually impaired students.

 ACTIVITY ROOMS

Creative pursuits go hand in hand with academic success. The school has well-equipped rooms for Art and Craft, Vocal Music, Dance, Instrumental Music, Clay modelling and Meal Planning. Activities such as Taekwondo, Yoga, Aerobics, Electronics, Public speaking and Painting begin the day for our tiny tots of the Primary School.

 PHYSICAL EDUCATION

The school provides a variety of outdoor and indoor games to build team spirit, physical stamina and sportsmanship. The Physical Education department stocks an assortment of modern equipment required for various games. Coaches specialised in Football, Basketball, Athletics, Volleyball, Handball and Cricket train the students every morning.

 MEDICAL ROOM

A qualified nurse is available full time to provide first aid in case of emergencies. The medical room is equipped with the latest apparatus and medicine. The school doctor visits regularly for medical check-up of all students and to look after the referred cases. The clinic ensures that a complete first aid kit is provided for each trip the school undertakes.

 SCHOOL TRANSPORT SYSTEM

The school has a fleet of buses run by experienced drivers and conductors. The smooth plying of the buses is the responsibility of the transport supervisor. All students are expected to follow bus rules. Parents may, on rotation, supervise the bus routes and submit their reports to the Principal.

 CCTV SURVEILLANCE

To ensure the safety and security of the students and staff, the school is fully equipped with CCTV (Closed Circuit television) cameras at the various vantage points within the school premises.

 FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT

Fire fighting equipment is installed in all the corridors and laboratories of the school. Regular disaster management drills are conducted in the school to prepare students and teachers to handle any emergency.

 CAFETERIA

The school has a clean, hygienic and well maintained cafeteria that serves nutritious food to the students and teachers. As a policy, the school discourages unhealthy food and so, the cafeteria only serves food that is wholesome and balanced. No aerated drinks or fast food is served here.

 ELEVATOR

An elevator has been installed for the convenience of the staff, the injured and physically challenged students. A designated lift operator ensures a smooth run of the installation.
