Tagoreans declared the Overall Winners of Stagecraft 2017 at Sanskriti School

Stagecraft, an interschool competition was organized by Sanskriti School. Our school team participated in various events and lifted the Shikha Chhabra Rolling Trophy.

In Play, a team of 6 students from class XII won the First prize and the participants are:

John also won Overall Best Actor Award for his performance.

In Debate competition, Sanjeet Aggarwal of class X C won the Best Debator Award.

In Imitation competition, Aradhya Kukreja of XII A won the First prize after going through four rigorous rounds and competing with about 15 other school participants.

Stagecraft Sanskriti

Winners of Anveshan 2017 @ ITIHAAS

Anveshan is an annual Heritage based music event organized by ITIHAAS-The Indian, Traditions and Heritage Society with the aim of encouraging young students to endeavor, explore and experience their local heritage. It provides the school students a unique opportunity to venture out, collect information, stories, lore and legends linked to their local culture, traditions and historical landmarks and weave them together into a melodious song. 27 students of classes VI-VIII participated in this event and won the First prize. Our budding lyricists Saivansh Kwatra, Vaaruni Khanna, Sakina Nadeem wrote the song.The participants are-

Tagoreans won laurels in ‘Mind Your Business’ event @ Sanskriti School

‘Mind your Business’ event was organized on 03 August 2017 by Sanskriti School, related to Commerce & Business for students of classes XI and XII.
Aakrit Bhargava and Ranjot Bindra of class XII A won the Third prize in Quiz competition.
Yashaswini Kataria of XII A won the award for the Best Investor in the startup Syndicate competition.

Tagoreans won laurels in GOONJ at DPS, Gurgaon

Goonj, an interschool festival of performing arts was organized by DPS, Gurgaon on 11 August 2017. About 10 schools participated in this festival. Our school participated in various events and won prizes.
A team of 12 students participated in ‘Abhivyakti’, a Music and Dance competition and won the Second prize. They also won the award for the Best Costume. The participants are:

An interschool Science and Mathematics Festival-‘Quest Fest’, was organized by St. Mark’s Public School, Meera Bagh.

Tagore International, EOK organized its annual cultural event on 30 August 2017.
In Tech Art competition, Aparajita Yadav and Mannika Sansanwal of class IV won the Second prize. They had to design an advertisement in Kolourpaint.
In Cartoon Story making competition, Feuli Badoni and Sashreek Kumar of class V won the Second prize.
Niloy Biswas, Asses Singh and Aryan Kohli of X won the Third prize in the Movie making competition.
In the art category, Luan Seldo of XII won the Third prize in Charcoal drawing. She got a Special mention for her art work which would be printed on T-Shirts.

Tagoreans won accolades in Creative School Competition for schools at JNU

Creative School Competition for schools was organized in Special Centre for Sanskrit at Jawaharlal Nehru University on 08 August 2017. Our school participated in two events –‘Bhashan Pratiyogita and Nibandh Lekhan Pratiyogita’.

Sanchit Kumar of VIII bagged the First prize and Chhavi Jain of VIII won the Second prize in ‘Bhashan Pratiyogita’.

Nikita Lal of X won the Second prize and V. Chaitanya of X got the Consolation prize in ‘Nibandh Lekhan Pratiyogita’

Tagoreans shine at Esya-IIIT Delhi’s Tech Fest

Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology organized its Tech Fest-ESYA. About 135 teams participated from all over Delhi.
Our school team comprising of Shreyas Hariharan, Dhruv Sharma and Jashn Anand of XI won the First prize in HUNT IT event. Each one was awarded with a certificate, cash prize of Rs. 2000 and a voucher worth Rs. 5000.
Umang Seth of XII secured the First position in ‘CIRCUITRIX ‘event, a circuit analysis and design competition, where participants had to analyze and design both analog and digital circuits. He was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 5500, and 10 % bonus marks for admission in IIIT.

Tagoreans won accolades at the Malaysian i-RYSCE 2017

Seven students accompanied by Ms. Gauri Sen went to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to participate in the International Royal Military Young Scientist Conference and Exhibition (i-RYSCE) from 10 July to 15 July 2017.

Our school was one of the 4 schools, representing India at this expo. Among 250 plus exhibits by 11 countries. Our school bagged four bronze medals and one gold medal. The team consisted of Pranav Bhatia , Manan Bhatia of XI C , Manav Gupta of IX A, Gurmaan Singh, Garv Gupta, Manav Gupta, Kabeer Kundra and Pratyush Saini of VII C-who also won the Youngest Scientist Award at his age of 11.

Ours was the only school to win awards for each of our projects, and the ideas were also appreciated by the judges.

A few days ago, the students, on behalf of the school, met with Dr. Harshvardhan, minister at Ministry of Science & Technology (India)Ministry of Environment, Government of India, at his residence and received a certificate of appreciation, signed by him.

Not only did they have a great learning experience, they also got to tour the city, visit the Petronas Twin Towers, a Chocolate Factory, shop, and have fun.

Dishan Bora and Dipankar Jiwani qualified NTSE stage-2 Scholarship Examination

NTSE is the National Talent Search Examination conducted by CBSE/NCERT for class X students. Dishan Bora and Dipankar Jiwani of class XI have qualified in the NTSE stage -2 Scholarship Examination held in May 2017 and are now eligible for scholarship granted by NCERT and CBSE.
