In the patriarchal society of today’s time, male chauvinism is a phenomenon you see more often than not. 

In the piece that we’ve created, The Man, seated halfway from his torso represents the misogynistic ego. The other half is buried next to him, represents how stuck up he is. The wigs surrounding are the woman he controls, the thread being the way of his control.

In an effort made by the Shrishti - The Art Society of Tagore International School, The President Daniel Neihsial, Vice-President Shruti Rai and ex-student Ashish Diyali have come to work together to make a mural in JAROI INTERIORS , located in Satbari in Chhattarpur , New Delhi,  under the able guidance and mentor-ship of Art Teacher Mr. Anjon Bose.The painting done to make the mural is an inspiration from the masterpiece “Starry Starry Night" by the artist Vincent Van Gogh.

A certain percentage of money has been handed to the school for the Acid Attack Survivors Fund.The work spanned for 20 days, with Daniel and Shruti working after school and Ashish later on.
