Dear Parents,

Education is not the learning of facts,
But the training of the mind to think----- Albert Einstein

The COVID 19 pandemic has brought many changes in our lives right from the work culture to school education. During these unprecedented times, it becomes imperative that we turn challenges into opportunities.

With respect to school education, we all stand united to face the challenges posed by this pandemic. As a school, we have devised a method of teaching-learning that would help the students not only to keep up a steady pace their academics but also sharpen their skills in co-curricular activities. With the aim that no child should be left behind, we are following a blended approach to teaching-learning. The transaction of the course work is achieved by not only holding online classes but also sending the worksheets, assignments, presentations, quiz etc along with the lesson in the form of a PDF file to the parents. This is to ensure that students engage in self-learning at their own pace and are able to interact better in online classes.

The format of teaching for primary classes is as follows:

Nursery & Kindergarten

  • In addition to recorded lessons that are being sent to the students on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, we have one hour of online classes on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • For better interaction with the students in small groups, the students are divided into 3 groups as per their roll numbers. The online classes are conducted from 0900 hours to 12 noon in slots.

Classes I to III

(b)  Every student is attending only one and a half hours of online classes every day.

(c) Classes are held four days in a week and two subjects are taught per day. Worksheets and other support material are being sent to the students to support the curriculum transaction in the classes.

(d) Once a week the students also attend Art pursuit, Computer and Physical education classes.
