Tagore International School, EOK, has been awarded with 'Make a difference' award in the Youth Leader and Entrepreneurship National level competition 'Harmony' organised by The Global Education & Leadership Foundation ( tGELF). Niyati Rao and Adwiteya presented their Project 'Pratishtha' which has touched upon the lives of many underprivileged.

Second Annual Climate Changemaker Teen Film Festival
On the occasion of Earth Day 2021, New Roads School in Santa Monica, California, USA organized its second annual Climate Changemaker Teen Film Festival. Baneet Pukhrambam (XII-C), Chirag Garg (XII-C) and Khushpreet Singh (Alumnus) won the Audience Choice Award in the High School category with their short film Parched. The film urges everyone to take the issue of water scarcity seriously by showing a glimpse of what can happen if it remains ignored. The organizers of the festival will be planting 10 trees in their name.

International Holocaust Remembrance Day
The International Holocaust Remembrance Day is observed on 27 January each year to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust. Aroma Mathews of class XII was asked to perform a Hebrew Song (Walk to Caesaria) to pay tribute to all the victims and survivors of the infamous genocide. Due to the ongoing COVID-19  pandemic, it was organized online by United Nations, India and UNESCO, India.

National Creativity Olympiad 2020
Yug Aggarwal of class VI C participated in the National Creativity Challenge. He was awarded Certificate of Excellence for showing exemplary performance and for qualifying for IInd round with All India percentile 93.7% score.

Harmony National Finals 2020
Prachi Mukhija, Ishveen Kaur, Kaashvi Bagdwal of class XII and Shradha Sabharwal of class X participated in the Harmony Youth Entrepreneur Business Challenge: tGELF/ JA India LEAD Company of the Year Competition (COY). The competition is tGELF/ JA’s  annual celebration of the achievements of the Company Program students. The competition is not simply a business competition for young people.  The goal is to balance the business achievements of each company as a whole with the personal development of each individual member. Their project ‘’ CUER ‘O’ HOUSE ‘’ was qualified for Harmony National Final 2020.

Youth Leader Competition by tGELF

Project Ayuda is a community service project started in May 2020 to work for the fulfilment of  SDG 1, SDG 3, and SDG 6 set up by the United Nations. Our students Aarush Agarwal(Class 11) and Soumil Garg(Class 10) participated in it became First Runner Ups in the Youth Leader Competition 2020. They developed the following products:-

1. Airpuro- An air purifier that uses natural materials for filtration and available for fraction of the costs

2. Hydrobeat- Water purification balls made in just INR 1 / liter
3. Detox Tea- Immunity boosting tea using ayurvedic ingredients.

They partnered up with SPECTRA NGO, and conducted a workshop with the women of Alwar who lost their jobs due to the corona virus pandemic. They trained them to make Airpuro so that they could help them in the production and earn some money. The raw materials have already been sent to them and the production has been started.
Their next stage was implementation which included spreading awareness, explaining the benefits of their products, training, taking orders, and manufacturing, etc
As a part of creating awareness, they presented their idea at various international forums like the Shanghai Youth Scitech Expo where they were applauded for the Airpuro.

They also participated in the Ocean Hero Bootcamp where they learnt leadership skills and the various mechanisms of water pollution. 

With the collaboration with UNODC, they conducted a panel discussion on the various SDGs and the need for good health in today’s society

They also celebrated the UN’s 75 year anniversary with activities revolving around various SDGs.

An anti cracker campaign was launched in the school to prevent usage of crackers which are the cause of pollution during Diwali

On 13th November, they organized a fun evening with cultural activities for the NGO students to celebrate Diwali and children’s day where they were also taught about pollution and health.

They will be donating their products to the children of the NGO especially to NIV which is an orphanage for HIV positive children

They will be selling our products through our website.
They are trying to reach out and make a difference for the tribal women of Alwar, underprivileged people workers who lost their jobs during the pandemic, old aged people and the needy,  and everyone in the society who is going to invest in our project
They will also be collaborating with various more NGOs and corporates under their CSR activity in the future.

UNESCO is a beacon of hope for underprivileged people all around the world. One of our students, Shouptik Roy of 11-D was selected to speak in one of its international sessions on bullying in schools. The session was attended by Senior UNESCO Officials, The Junior Sports Minister of France, Presidents of Morroco, Ireland, Finland and many more countries who strive to eradicate bullying from schools. Our students win recognition at Enactus, an endeavour by SRCC to Social Entrepreneurship

Aratrika, Kaashvi and Nishtha of class XII and Shraddha of class XI were selected among 200 young minds across the country, for the Social Entrepreneurship Introduction Programme(SEIP),an initiative by Enactus, SRCC. They attended two weeks SEIP, where they had interactive sessions with the Enactus Team and were taught about the basics of social entrepreneurship. They were given tasks on a regular basis and attended webinars where they got an opportunity to interact and learn from the best and experienced minds in the industry.
They were divided into different Zoom breakout rooms where they had interactive sessions with different students across the country. The students learnt about the importance of social media and how it plays a pivotal role in increasing the reach and network capabilities of a social enterprise. In the second week, they also took part in the Business Innovation Challenge, in which they had to design their own pitch deck and present it to the panel.
Aratrika Guha was a part of the winning team.  Her team consisted of 10 students from different schools across India. They came up with a comprehensive business model to provide employment to the people in the slums of Dharavi. Their project ‘Upjivika’ was a feasible social entrepreneurship model which was well appreciated by the judging panel. They won the first position among 15 competing teams.
They were appreciated for their zeal to learn and enthusiasm and efforts to build a social entrepreneurship model entirely on their own. The students had an enriching experience at the SEIP.  The program triggered the social entrepreneur in them, and they had an exhilarating journey with the Enactus team. They gained valuable insights from the program. The Enactus Team wished them the best for their future endeavours.


First Position in English Speech competition

Yug Aggarwal of class VI has secured first position in Eng Speech competition held at Abhinav Global School, Dwarka. Schools all over India participated in this event and one school from Japan also participated. Over 2500+ participants and 105 schools. The topic was "Is corona an opportunity?"  Yug spoke in favor of this.

Qualified for Round 2 in Suno Sharda 90.8 FM
Suno Sharda 90. 8 FM organized an online singing competition, "Dil Ki Baat, Sureelay Superstars Ke Saath" wherein the participants must shoot a video of themselves, singing a song of their choice on the topic, 'Dil Ki Baat, Lockdown Ke Jazbaat'. The budding singers of Tagore International School, East of Kailash took keen interest in the competition and had uploaded their entries on social media.

Inter TIS Online Quiz Competition
An online Inter TIS Quiz was held between East of Kailash and Vasant Vihar branches with 3 teams from each school comprising of students from Classes VI to VIII competing for the top slot. The Quiz was conducted by renowned Quizmaster Mr. Arindam Chakravorty. After interesting rounds on History, Music, mixed bag questions in Rapid Fire round, the team from Vasant Vihar bagged the first position.  The Quizmaster also kept the audience engaged by throwing open questions to the audience too.

Olympiad Winners

Our students are consistently participating and winning at various levels of Olympiads. Ishita Namjoshi received a gold medal and qualified for further level of International English Olympiad.


In National Science Olympiad, our students won a total of 15 Gold, 14 Silver and 14 Bronze medals and qualified for the second round.


In French Olympiad, our students won a total of 10 Gold, 8 Silver and 6 Bronze medals. Our school also received a shield for its outstanding participation in French Olympiad.

Winners at Vigyantram- IIT Mumbai
Vigyantram is a National Level Championship with a series of Technical workshops in association with Abhyuday, Indian Institute of Technology,Mumbai. The fest is about embracing the new medium which encourages students to shed their inhibitions and set the stage ablaze with their immense talents, at the national level platform. Each workshop is a springboard to a deeper understanding of technology and its myriad applications and potential for innovation which prepares the participants for real-world conditions. 
This year 3 teams from Tagore International School, East of Kailash participated in the championship. The championship was held on 18 & 19 January 2020 at IIT Mumbai. More than 600 students across schools from India participated in the event. 2 teams participated in the Innovation challenge  and 1 team participated in Robotron.  Team 1 consisting of Sarayu , Dakshita Bharti & Anish Roy Choudhury- Class VI , Riddhima Chawla & Mohammad Aleem Baba- Class VII and Aarnav Mudgal- Class VIII made a Pillbot and team 2 consisting of Kairav Dixit, Mohd Ayaan Abbas, Raghav Sharma and P Jawahar- Class IX made Smart parking system. Robotron team members were Anuj Garg- Class VII, Rishi Bihani- Class VIII, Dhruv Singhal and Praveet Sinha – Class XI 
Robotron  team won the first position in the event. They received a cheque of Rs 21,000/- along with a trophy and certificates. In Innovation Challenge Pilbot Project won the Second Position. Apeejay School, Noida had hosted their Inter School Computer Symposium, CODE which saw the confluence of digital experts from across Delhi-NCR. It is indeed an achievement that Chirag Garg of Class X and Khushpreet Singh of class XII secured the 2nd position in “Movie Making” competition.

Delhi Public School, R K Puram also hosted a plethora of events Theatron in which our school participated. With a lot of hard work and practice, our students outdid their competitors by winning in many of the events.

Samarjeet Singh and Devishi Shah of class XI secured 2nd position and Ishita Namjoshi and Niharika Kaushish of class XI secured 4th position in ‘Climate Jamboree’ program for the event ‘Food Atlas’ held at TERI school of advanced studies.


Our meritorious student of Class X, Ishita Namjoshi has won a scholarship for her outstanding performance in English in SOF. As part of the scholarship, she has received a cheque of Rs 5,000/- and a Certificate. 
The SOF SEE is run in association with The British Council. Under the SEE, 120 students excelling in English are annually selected to receive this prestigious scholarship.
